One of the things I instantly noticed is the artstyle, which is one of my favorite points. The environments are really pretty, and the characters designs are very unique. The music compliments some of the sillyness of the game, and the sound effects are fitting.

I was very surprised when I started to see so many new hand formations outside of the ones from regular rock-paper-scissors, but it was a very good surprise! I'm not entirely sure yet how each new hand formation interacts with others, but I find the concept extremely interesting!

I also really like the characters, dialogue and story. It made me pumped to go grab what is rightfully mine! (also, appreciate the Scissors button)

When I got to the final boss, I was able to essentially have so much shield the king couldn't damage me anymore for the rest of the battle, so maybe a bit of balancing to not let the player become way too op could be good. The animations for critical hits were also an awesome touch!

Let me just say, one of the main reasons I played the game was the mix of the name with the character in the thumbnail. It set a good impression of the game from the get go for me. I had a good time with this game and I really like the humor, the art and the gameplay concepts here. It'd be interesting to see this expanded upon. Very well done

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

What beats what - I've put a chart somewhere in the comments before, but I'll add it to the page as well. We've seen the chart so many times that none of us realised, it's not actually in the game...

About balancing - yea, we did a bit of balancing before the deadline, but it was only one iteration and definitely needed more work, but we ran out of time to do it for the jam.

We're really glad you liked it, we'll be slowly trying to update it, so keep an eye on the page if you want to see the newer version :)

Fun concept, I found myself confused what the other interactions were, is a Wolf weak to scissors? to Water?
Besides that fact, I see how a lot of thought went into the card designs.
It could be interesting to see how the collected fingers could come into play later.

Thanks for the feedback!

We used a popular charts for extended rock-paper-scissors, like below

Rock paper scissors 2 chart: confuse and stun lock enemies ...

Time restriction and some major technical problems we had towards the end prevented us from adding a bunch of UI/UX updates we wanted to put in to make it more clear what's going on.

We had some ideas about additional fingers, but we were pretty sure we won't be able to implement them in time. For example, we wanted to give each received finger from defeated enemy a buff for the run, like more HP, damage/shield increase, starting with shield or, even more complex - when using selected finger, you can boost effect on your card or gain more stats for the fight/run etc.

Art is very cute and story/dialogue are very funny. Music was unobtrusive and pleasant. Gameplay was very easy to understand after I got a hang of it. They only suggestion I do have is once the last dialogue is made maybe auto starting to the next battle room. For a second I thought I broke it because there was no more words popping up but that's so minor. Otherwise a very fun game jam game and I hope ya'll have the ability to make it full fledged.
